Janelle Monae’s curls at the Hollywood Film Awards
Grammy-nominated singer Janelle Monae, slayed the red carpet this weekend for the Hollywood Film Awards at the Palladium in Los Angeles. Making her presence known with toned legs, Diana Ross-esque curls and a popping red lip, the natural haired diva’s look is definitely one to recreate!
Departing from her usual suit-and-tie ensemble, Janelle opted for a more feminine look with a sleek white dress and checkered purse. With double duty, Janelle Monae took the stage to perform “What is Love?” from Rio 2 and accepted the evening’s songwriting honor.
To Get Janelle’s Hair Look:
This look is for my No Heat Naturalistas! First, wash or co-wash hair to remove any product and/or residue. Condition hair with a leave-in conditioner that adds moisture like Original Mane ‘n Tail Conditioner.
Part wet hair into 4 or 6 sections and work in 1 to 3 drops (depending on thickness of hair) of Creme of Nature’s Argan Oil to each section to seal in moisture.
